End of the Year Wrap Up

Seniors

It's hard to believe how rapidly the end of the year is approaching. Seniors need to let Mrs. Hamson know of any awards and scholarships they have received prior to the Senior Awards Night on May 22nd. The deadline to notify Mrs. Hamson of awards and scholarships you will be receiving is Monday, May 14. You can email the list to nhamson@galatiak12.org.

Underclassmen

It's that time of year to begin choosing classes for next year. We have already completed preliminary schedule requests. However, if you'd like to make some changes, you can do so by logging into iNow and making those changes under the link "Requests" on the left hand side.

Some changes for next year include partnering with Eldorado High School to allow our students the opportunity to take high school level Spanish at Eldorado in the afternoons. Students will have to get a permission form signed by their parents in order to enroll in this course. Also, students who are an athlete now qualify for a PE exemption, meaning they can take another elective course in the place of PE in their schedule. For questions about scheduling, please contact Mrs. Hamson

SAT Testing on April 10th

April 10th is a BIG day for Juniors. All Juniors will be taking the SAT exam on that day at the FLOC Building. The SAT is one of the main components that colleges look at in order to determine admission and scholarship eligibility. It is important that all Juniors be in attendance on this date, be well rested and have eaten a good breakfast.
