UPCOMING SCE & PTO DATES/EVENTS
Scottish Corners Information
We are so grateful for all of you! Thank you to our PTO for organizing our Leeds Farm event last week! Thank you Carie Muhlenkamp for organizing dinners for staff on conference nights. Thank you parents for treating us to your delicious cooking. We truly have the best families here at SCE. Our teachers not only appreciated the food, but also valued the time to meet and connect with all of you to celebrate the wonderful things happening with your children at school.
Our first ever PTO Walk-A-Thon is coming up November 6th. We hope to see many of you there! Please note important information for next week below about PTO Dinner Night Out at MOD Pizza, our Friday 10/29 Friday Fall Fun Day and SCE/Dublin Spirit Wear Day, and upcoming Veterans Day activities.
I hope you have a wonderful evening.
Fondly,
Lauren Windham, Scottish Corners Principal

Fall Friday Fun Day - Friday, October 29:
- SCE/Dublin Spirit Wear Day!
- Please know that our decision to not have large classroom parties with costumes, a parade and parent volunteers this year is due to the fact that we are unable to safely follow COVID protocols and do these events safely. We are still going to make this a fun day for students. They will still have classroom parties. Classroom party guidance we are sharing with room parents and staff is below:
- We are staying away from some past practices due to COVID reasons. As we move forward to next year, we are looking forward to conversation about how we can continue with fun Harvest Party celebrations similar to what happened in the past.
From our PTO - Dinner Night Out:
- Our next SCE Dinner Night Out is in partnership with MOD Pizza. On Thursday, October 28th MOD Pizza, 6181 Sawmill Road, will donate 20% of takeout, delivery & pick up orders to Scottish Corners Elementary School. For online orders, please use the code GR2064995.
