Weekly Tech TIps!
In Windows 10 you can create multiple desktops that may come in handy if you want to separate your different classes. All you do is click the Windows key + Tab key together then choose ‘New Desktop’ in the bottom right. A second desktop will appear where you can create a separate lesson. To switch back, just hit the Windows key + Tab key again and choose the desktop that you want display.
On any school phone, the Directories button, which looks like an open book, allows you to easily call someone or look up information by name or extension. To find someone within the district, tap this button, then scroll to and select “Corporate Directory”, or press 5. Use the number keys to type a portion of the target’s name or number, tap Search, scroll to the correct contact, then lift the receiver to call them.

This Week's Digital Daredevils!!
This week's Daredevils are Mrs. Amsler and her music students at Joan Martin! They have been using lots of different tech tools for class. 4th grade students recorded themselves playing their recorders for their portfolios.
They also created background music for their recorder tunes using Garage Band. Students have also used ScreenChomp to do notations and recordings. They scan QR codes from Mrs. Amsler that take them to different learning resources.
Let us know how we can help you use technology in your classroom!
Please let Tammy know if you need any help with portfolio-related items!
