use a ladder or step stool to reach high shelf's
Trying to reach the top shelf on your own is dangerous and may result in thing on the shelf falling, the shelf breaking, you could fall, and the shelf could fall on you.
Be sure your rugs in the kitchen have a nonskid back
Some rugs that aren't non skid slip and slide under you and can result in a fall.
If the floor is wet, wait until it is dry until you walk on it
