Chemical or Physical?

Disolving salt in water, Chemical Or Physical?
It is a chemical change because new molecules are destroyed and molecules are created. And some are destroyed and a chemical reaction happens. And the salt gets fully dissolved there is no salt anymore, it fully mixed with the water.
Carving Wood, Chemical or Physical?
It’s a physical change because no chemical compounds are changed, And it's still wood it’s just like drawing on paper, it’s still paper same with wood, too. If you cut wood it’s still wood, it just changes the appearance. And the structure is just being carved not burned. Also it’s not changing the chemical composition.
