563 Salvatierra Street

Stanford, CA

The Stanford Career Development Center has recently transformed into Stanford Career Education, and is now known as BEAM (Bridging Education, Ambition, and Meaningful Work). The change in our name reflects the multitude of changes in our organization.

On 1.14.16 from 3-6pm, The BEAM Connection will bring the new Stanford Career Connections Model to life through an interactive, multimedia, open-house style experience. During this event, each floor of the BEAM space will unfold new activities and opportunities to connect students, employers, alumni, faculty, campus partners, staff and the rest of the Stanford community, showcasing the heart of our new model: connections.

By traveling through the four sections of the model (Design, Connect, Venture, and Pursue), you’ll leave this event with new connections and a new sense of direction on how to embark or continue your journey to meaningful work.

Giveaways begin now!

BEAM wants to see what makes your work environment unique! Upload a 15 second video to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with hashtag #BEAMconnection and show us what your "office" is like. We'll feature these videos at the event and give students a taste of what it's like to work in different industries.
