We had another great week at TES. Just a reminder to send coats, snow pants, boots, gloves and hats. All students go outside for recess twice a day.

We are excited that the Wilkinson Library is presenting Books Alive to our students on Thursday afternoon. They will be presenting "The Animals Would Not Sleep! by Sara Levine

Ski PE Reminder:

Students are not to be picked up at the gondola during Ski PE- all students should return to TES. There are specific situations that have been arranged for drop off and pick up but this is limited to those that have this arranged by Mrs. Treinen. Thank you!

Save the Date for TES Book Fair!

Who: Telluride Elementary School students and their families.

What: TES Book Fair

Where: TES 4th Floor, hallway outside the library

When: February 22, 23, and Feb 27th- March 1st

How: We can’t have a book Fair without the generous support of parent volunteers!

Please sign up here to volunteer.

Why: To promote and encourage literacy and love for books! This is the only fundraiser for our school Library. Funds made from the book fair help us purchase new books for our library. This is also an excellent opportunity for families to build their home libraries to develop and increase reading skills, and make reading a family event at home.

- Healthy School Meals: As we begin planning for the next school year, we know there are many questions regarding the passage of the Healthy School Meals for All program (Proposition FF) in Colorado. Please see attached for more information.

The Colorado State Library needs our help to distribute a survey to parents and caregivers of children and teens on the autism spectrum. The information gathered will help improve library services for the autism community.
