A note from Mrs. Hess

Dear Families,

This is a year we won't soon forget, but we did it! And "WE" means ALL of us, working together to make lemonade out of lemons. THANK YOU to students and their families for all of your efforts over the entire school year, but especially the last quarter of school. Parents, you truly became our partners in education and I appreciate all of you! Kudos to you for turning spaces in your homes into classrooms and becoming teachers overnight! You are awesome!

I have really enjoyed getting to know your children, both in our actual classroom and the virtual one. This has been a year of laughter, learning, great books, butterflies, and one very special gecko. Thank you for sharing your children with me and trusting me to be their teacher.

I hope you all enjoy the relaxation and adventures summer has to offer, now that we can adventure a little more freely.

Our Seesaw classroom will remain open over the summer, so feel free to keep in touch! I look forward to hearing about all of the great things your kiddos do and accomplish and I always enjoy when former students and families visit!

Optional Summer Contact Info:

Several parents have asked about sharing their summer contact info with the class for arranging play dates (when it's safe!) and for students to keep in touch. This is completely optional, and to facilitate this request, I have created this Google doc. If you are comfortable sharing your contact info, please add your info to the document. Keep in mind that anyone with this link can access the document. I hope this helps to keep our kiddos connected this summer!
