Green Card Prizes
In the past, students have earned milkshakes from Richdales, ice cream from Captain Dusty's, Dunkin' Donuts giftcards, Surfari gift cards, and iTunes gift certificates. We are looking for donations in the form of prizes or gift cards in small values ($5, $10 or $15) as prizes for our monthly drawing.
If you are able to make a green card prize donation, please drop it off with Mrs. Hunt in the main office, labeled with "Green Card Prizes." Thank you for your consideration!

Nominate a MERMS educator to be Massachusetts Teacher of the Year!
Each year the Massachusetts Teacher of the Year (TOY) program honors a Massachusetts teacher who exemplifies excellent teaching in the Commonwealth. Beyond celebrating the individual, the program looks at the complex work that is involved in educating all students through highlighting student achievement, commitment to the profession, innovations in education, and teacher leadership. It draws attention to issues of teacher quality and reiterates the importance of the teacher as the single most important school-based factor in improving student outcomes.
High School Application: New Process
The first step in this process is to fill out the following online form:

Once you fill this out (once per school application), please supply all application materials directly to Mr. O'Maley in the main office - this includes recommendation requests, transcript requests, self-addressed stamped envelopes, releases for information, required postage, and any other application specific information.

Rising Freshmen High School Transition Meeting
On January 28th at 7pm, MERHS will hold a grade 8 transition event. "Curriculum, Content and Choices" is a program for both students and parents. It will provide an introduction to the high school's curricular offerings. The program will include a panel discussion by students. Parents will also have the opportunity to ask specific questions to Department Heads.
