EV NEWS BROADCAST
EV has a very talented news team comprised of 6th grade students who participate in an independent study. Under the direction of Mrs. Sarkar and with assistance from Miss Mitton, students produce a weekly news broadcast, which started in November. EV News reports school-related news, jokes, the weekly challenge, special features, and even bloopers! We plan to start sharing our EV News with our families each week. Enjoy!

Coming soon... Clubs for students in grades K-2!
Based on parent surveys, we plan to pilot two new club offerings, Bricks4Kids and Science Explorers. Originally meant for students in grades K-1 only, we will offer the club opportunities to students in grade 2, too. Keep an eye on our Weekly WOW and your child's backpack for club information.
Overall details: We hope to start a pilot for K-2 after-school opportunities in early 2019. We imagine the opportunities would take place from 3:15-4:15 at EV, and students who attend kindergarten and first, second grades at EV would be eligible to attend. Families would provide transportation. There are out-of-pocket costs associated with the programs.
*Students who attend AM kindergarten would need transportation to/from the program.
**Students who attend ACP after school may attend and return to ACP after the program.
