Summer Gains
With summer break just 4 days away (yes, we are still counting), now is a great time to make a plan to ensure that the academic gains your child made this school year are maintained, and that your child is positioned for success when school begins in August. An easy way to do this is to set aside a small block of time each day for your child to practice reading, writing, and math skills. There are many engaging, age-appropriate resources available to help you with this. Summer bridging activity books like the ones linked HERE are popular choices for many families, and CVUSD will be sending a flyer home in your child's report card on the last day of school that highlights some online options. Of course, daily reading is one of the best ways to help your child build literacy skills that are proven to improve performance across all subjects.

School Supply Donations 2023-2024
Skip the school shopping, and make a donation directly to school! Our staff will compile supplies to be picked up at teacher reveal in August.
Each bag is $25 and will contain all the suggested donations for each grade level. Lists are available on-line, or in the office – should there be any excess money, it will go directly to your child’s grade level for more supplies. Order forms went home and are available in the office.
This is a VOLUNTARY donation, but all donations are appreciated! Checks can be made to Wildwood PTA and dropped off at the front office before the end of year, or between 8/1 and 8/4.
Original Works
Due to continued requests from customers interested in placing additional product orders from their child’s artwork, we are now offering the opportunity for the parents and students at Wildwood Elementary to place additional orders from existing artwork, new artwork, or even a photograph.
