Titus in Action
From Mrs. Pustay
Upon our return to school from the holiday break, students and staff members were required to wear face coverings while inside our school building and on school buses. This was a result of the Order of the Acting Secretary and the new Health and Safety Plan, which was approved by the CBSD Board of Education on August 31, 2021.
Individuals, including students, staff, parents, and all visitors, who wish to request a mask exception must carefully review and submit the Central Bucks School District’s face covering exemption form. NO other form will be accepted for reason of exemption from the face-covering order. Please send the signed hard copy form to school with your child if they will not be wearing a mask. You can find the link to all forms below including our current Health and Safety Plan.
As you send your child to school with a mask you may want to review proper mask-wearing. Teachers and staff will provide gentle reminders, to those students wearing masks, to keep them fitted correctly, covering the mouth and nose and not under their chin.
As always I appreciate your support and respectful collaboration as we work through this together.
Thank you-
Mrs. Bridget M. Pustay

Race for Education
This year, the Titus Home & School Association has teamed up with Apex Leadership for this year’s Race for Education. For two weeks, from 9/13 to 9/24, Apex will be providing an interactive leadership program culminating with a fitness-focused Race for Education.
The Race for Education is Titus’s largest and main fundraiser of the year. Funds raised through the Race for Education support the Home and School programs and events throughout the 2021-2022 school year, such as student activities (Book Fair, Science Fun Day, The Secret Shop, etc.), family fun events (Fall Fest, Family Fitness Night, the Sweetheart Dance, etc.), classroom supplies, teacher appreciation events, and the acquisition of new technology, equipment, programs, and services that benefit all students. This year we will also be raising funds to help build an outdoor classroom!
Flyers have been sent home with every student and the fun will kick off on Monday, September 13th with our in-school pep rallies! We encourage every Titus Tiger to join in on the fun by wearing blue and orange!
Race Day is Thursday, September 23rd and volunteers are needed to help make this event a success. A volunteer sign up will be available on Monday, September 13th and will be posted on the Titus Facebook page an emailed out to parents. If you are interested in volunteering for Race Day, you can also email Angela McGettigan, Titus Home & School President at president@titushsa.com.
Thank you for helping to make this year’s event a success!

HOME & SCHOOL ASSOCIATION INFORMATION
Volunteers Needed!
All of the efforts of the Home & School Association require the help of many hands. We welcome and encourage you to get involved in any way possible, as you are automatically a part of the Home & School Association by just being a Titus family. Whether on site at school, or from your home, there are many ways to volunteer:
- Serve on the Home & School Association Board
- Chair or co-chair a committee
- Help prepare or set-up for an event
- Assist at an event
- Donate supplies/food for an event
- Make gifts to sell at The Secret Shop
Please join us on Thursday, September 23rd at 7:30 p.m. at Titus for an information session to learn more about how you can get involved! While an RSVP is not necessary, it does allow us to ensure that we have enough handouts on hand for all attendees. You can RSVP by emailing president@titushsa.com. Hope to see you there!
New Student T-Shirts!
The Titus Home & School Association provides a Titus t-shirt for all new students to Titus each August/September. Due to supply issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, our shipment of shirts has been delayed. We expect them to arrive sometime in the next week or so and they will be available for new students. Sizes available will be youth medium, large, x-large and adult small, medium and large.
