The Journey Begins!

Destination Graduation

A message from the Principal

Hello ENGC community,

We are truly excited to begin your "Destination Graduation" journey together! I hope you had the opportunity to attend 9th grade orientation on August 7th and experience the excitement and energy of all the great opportunities that await you. If not, no worries, today is a new day to get connected.

We believe that every student needs to be involved and connected to an organization that excites and energizes them to be PRESENT each and everyday. Students, we are counting on you to take the initiative and come prepared each day to work on your dreams and goals for the future. Parents, we need your partnership to ensure that your student stays on the path of success. Please register for home access, monitor grades, attendance, and encourage participation in after school activities.

Please also know that health and safety is always a priority for everyone in our Alief community. Please take a moment to preview the latest update from Mr. Chambers, Superintendent of Alief ISD, below and read the "Safe Return School Plan". Our campus will continue our safety protocols as recommended by CDC; which includes a focus on hygiene and cleaning throughout the day, one way traffic, masks encouraged, and monitoring our social spacing.

Together we will remain safe and have a fantastic school year. Keep up to date by following us at as well as Twitter @ElsikNGCRams and Facebook.

Ms. Sprang

ENGC Assistant Principal Team!

Community Class Talks!

On Wednesday, August 11th , students were invited to the cafeteria for a “Community Talk” and the main topic centered on the main goal for all students: Destination: Graduation. The assistant principal for each community and school counselor both shared important information to help each student navigate their first year of high school successfully. Our school principal, Ms. Sprang spoke to each community and encouraged students to become involved in clubs, organizations, and athletics to build school spirit and form long-lasting friendships and connections. Earning credits, school-wide and classroom expectations, codes of conduct and civility, and attendance requirements were all explained in detail so that every Ram will have a plan to follow and be eligible to proudly walk the stage as a graduating student of the class of 2025.

ENGC Counselors

Students, Counselors are available during all lunches, by appointment in your community office, and on-line through Schoology messaging. Over the next couple of months, each student will meet with his/her Counselor to review your 4 year plan for "Destination Graduation".

Did you move or get a new phone number?

Students who change their home addresses or telephone numbers are required to report this information with supporting documentation to the Registrar's Office and/or their assistant principal's office as soon as the change is known. Necessary documentation for an
