1st Grade Musical

Mr. Deptula has created a wonderful musical for our 1st graders, and we need some help! Please see the sign up to see where you can help. Our goal is to have the 1st grade parents sit back and enjoy their child's evening performance, so if you commit to working the sound system the evening of the 29th and attend a rehearsal, we will reserve a front row seat for you at your child's musical. Thanks!

Please click here for details regarding the Halloween parade, party and costume guidelines.

Please click here to respond to the Halloween Home Lunch & Party Participation form. Please complete this form if you plan for your child to go home during the lunch hour on Halloween and/or if you are planning to NOT have your child participation in the Halloween parade and party.

We look forward to a safe and fun-filled celebration at Dryden!

Veterans Day

We are looking forward to our annual Veterans Day breakfast and assembly to honor our local Veterans on Monday, November 11. Please complete the form linked here if you have a Veteran you would like to bring to Dryden.

Indoor Recess Rotations

We are excited to share that we have updated our indoor recess plans to include more options for students when we have to stay inside due to inclement weather. Students may now enjoy supervised playtime in the gym, calm social play (board games, drawing, building, etc. ) in the hallways and videos in the LMC. Videos are rated G. Please contact Assistant Principal Mrs. Stefanie Beane if you have any questions.

Picture Day Pictures are In!

All parents who ordered photos should have received their child’s photo from picture day last Friday. If those smiles were not as bright as you would like, we will have retakes on November 6.

Please note no class photos were in your packages. Class photos will be delivered separately. Again, every child will receive a class photograph regardless of ordering courtesy of our PTA. As soon as we receive them, we will be sure to get them out to everyone.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Shani Jarrett at info@austinjarrett.com or (847) 331-4515.

Enjoy the "Splish", a weekly video of highlights from our week at Dryden!
