Mr. Zagorski
Superintendent/Principal - Riverton School District
Happy August Riverton Families!
I am eager and excited to begin my first year as the Superintendent/Principal of the Riverton School. As I enter my eighteenth year in education, I look forward to building a partnership with the Riverton community in an effort to maximize the individual capacity of all of our students. The purpose of this newsletter is to introduce myself, my family, and share an overview of my educational philosophy.
In short, I believe in focusing on the whole student and creating a respectful, responsible environment where all students are happy, healthy and have the ability to maximize their daily learning potential. “Visible Learning,” and “Relationships,” are two themes I model on a daily basis. You will see these themes reflected in my communications, our events, your child’s classroom experience, etc.
I look forward to meeting you and your children as we enter the 2022-2023 school year.
With gratitude,
Joshua W. Zagorski
Superintendent
Riverton School District

Some of my educational thoughts...
All children are explorers Let's encourage questioning, innovating, & critical thinking! | Relationships Circles are one strategy for all children to learn to respect themselves, one another, their adults , & our property. As adults we learn a ton as well! | All children can achieve. Learning should be messy, filled with productive struggle and visible. All students can achieve. |
