Digital Learning Spotlight
The Birdville Digital Learning Team hosts a weekly Twitter Chat each Tuesday evening from 8:00-8:30 PM. If you are new to Twitter, or to view the archives of previous chats, visit the Twitter resource page at http://schools.birdvilleschools.net/Domain/5344.
In the video that follows, Mary Hadley and Tosh McGaughy, from Smithfield Middle School, share how they have benefited from participating in the weekly chat. You too are invited to join in the learning! @birdville_dl #bisddlp
Managing Campus iPads
To check the iOS, go to Settings, General, Software Update. If the device needs to be updated, you will have a notification. Otherwise, it will state that the software is up to date.
To check the Apple ID (iTunes accounts) that the device is syncing to, go to Settings, iTunes and App Store, and the Apple ID will be located at the top of the window. If the Apple ID is anything other than apple...@birdvilleschools.net, please notify your Digital Learning Specialist to get information about about moving to the correct account. All campus and district purchased devices should only be used on an authorized, district issued, Apple ID.
If you wish to purchase apps that are not FREE, you must participate in the Volume Purchase Program to procure iOS Apps. Information about the VPP is available on the Digital Learning website: http://schools.birdvilleschools.net/Page/24143.
