Join us at Savannah's shores to help out with picking up trash and helping animals that have been hurt by plastic. Invite your friends, family, and anyone you know! Because when you have fun, you can also be helping a whole species.

Make sure to bring clothes that you can get dirty in, and also remember to bring snacks, or money, in case you want to buy snacks in one of our five food stands.

Wassaw National Wildlife Refuge's Shoreline
1:00-1:25 : Welcome team members and volunteers.
1:25-2:30 : Begin to clean the shores.
2:45-3:05 : First break for snacks/lunch.
3:10-4:15 : Begin to clean animals.
4:20- End meeting.
REMEMBER- THIS LASTS FOR A WEEK, AND ON THE LAST DAY, IT ENDS EARLY.

Margaret Griffon was hired to take pictures of the cleaning site last year. Here is one of her best pictures, which is of her daughter, Cami Griffon. Margaret has been doing photography of this subject for over 5 years.
Replanting a garden
Here is how we replanted a garden that was full of trash and oil, and we found it by the beach. It is now part of a park called "Seaside Seasons".
