Face-to-Face & Virtual Student Families
TMSE Families,
It was great to see all of our face-to-face students in our building, together, last week. All our students, virtual and face-to-face, have settled into a routine. Attendance is critically important to our students' academic success. Our school day begins at 7:55 am, with students being tardy after 8:00 am. If your child is a virtual student, make sure he/she logs into Google Meetings on time, each day, and complete all assigned academic tasks. Our staff remains vigilant about maintaining our COVID safety precautions. We need your help as well. Do not send your child (face-to-face) to school if anyone in your immediate family is awaiting COVID test results or has COVID symptoms. Call the school nurse, Nurse Kristina Crow and we will assist you in determining the appropriate return-to-school protocol. Also, if your child has a fever, a new cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, do not send them to school.
Thank you for your assistance in keeping our school family as healthy as possible.
CONGRATULATIONS to our TMSE Community!

Changes to Educational Delivery Model
Our school and district encourage parents to make arrangements in advance should your child be quarantined/isolated or should our school have to move to a staggered model or virtual model in the future.
It remains our goal to remain in-person for the duration of the spring semester; however, circumstances in our school or community can change this with little notice.
TCS remains in contact with local government and health officials regarding the educational model to use during this time.

Great Kindness Challenge (January 25-29)
F2F students-
The Great Kindness Challenge is THIS week January 25th-29th. Students have received paper copies of their kindness checklists and are encouraged to complete as many items on the school edition as they can by the end of the week. There is also an optional family edition checklist, in case the whole family wants to get involved.
When/if students complete their checklists, they can turn them into Mrs. Edwards. ALL checklists are due by Friday, January 29th for students’ names to be entered in for a gift card drawing. We can't wait to see the ripple effect of these kind deeds.
