O. Henry Library Ledger

September 2019

What's been happening in the O. Henry Library?

The start of the year has been busy, busy, busy. All students at O. Henry received library orientation by the 3rd week of school, which means every student should have a book on them at all times. During the first two weeks of school, O. Henry students checked out 1403 items.

Each day students drop everything and read for 15 minutes at school, which should be carrying over into healthy reading habits at home. Students come to the library before school, during lunch, and throughout the instructional day. We look forward to gearing up for Halloween soon with great scary book offerings, as well as some pretty awesome decorations in the library. Be sure you come by!

Most popular books for checkout this month:

1. Ghost Boys, by Jewell Parker Rhodes

2. Scythe, by Neal Shusterman

3. Long Way Down, by Jason Reynolds
