On Tuesday, November 22nd, Green Holly Elementary will be participating in its 18th annual Turkey Trot. The Turkey Trot is an event where the students and staff go out and walk and/or jog the perimeter of Green Holly’s property in an effort to encourage the importance of physical activity. This event will take place during your student’s regularly scheduled specials (art, music, P.E., media) time. PK will go out as a class at their convenience. In order to help us make this event a success please make sure that your student(s) comes to school Tuesday, November 22nd, dressed in comfortable clothing and wearing tennis shoes/sneakers. It will be chilly. Make sure they dress in warm clothing, preferably in layers.
