How The Library Can Help
Information Literacy
The teacher-librarian can show students how to access, evaluate, and use information from a variety of resources responsibly and ethically. These skills are invaluable in generating knowledge and creating lifelong learners.
Collaboration
The teacher-librarian can recommend resources, provide reading strategies, and work with teachers in planning and implementing research projects and other learning experiences.
Technology
The school library provides access to hardware such as computers, SMART Boards, digital projectors, printers, and scanners. Students have access to a number of digital resources, including video streaming, Web 2.0 tools, and the library catalogue.
