Students need to have one informal running record if they are in text during guided reading before formal Fountas and Pinnell Running Records at the end 1st nine weeks. You don't have to have all your letters/sounds to be in text.
More and more parents are signing. Let's get the kids to posting the great things they are learning!
Fall Book Fair and Family Night
Please help our list of community partners grow. We invite them to all of our activities so that they can connect with parents.
Getting Families and Parents Involved October 1-5
We will allow parents to each lunch and shop with their students during lunch time.
The Book fair will also be open during our Fall Family Night on October 4th from 5:30-6:30.
SIOP Training is for all teachers and paras who work directly with students. Turn in the completed documentation to Walker. See last week's smore for more.
We are moving the time after school from 3:30 to 4:00 so that everyone can attend. Please adjust your times next week!
We wish Amanda Tucker well as she becomes the District Receptionist for White Oak ISD. We welcome back Marisa Holland as our new Computer Lab Aide.
If you are a returning teacher, you may choose your TTESS dates (type in your dates on the spreadsheet). Pre Conference on a Monday, Formal Observation on a Tuesday and Post Conference on a Friday. All appraisal dates must be before March 1st.
