Supporting Students 24/7: Paper helps PUSD pupils reach new academic heights
From Pasadena Weekly
With the advent of Paper, an online educational support platform designed to give students 24/7 tutoring and support, Pasadena Unified School District students are achieving marked academic growth.
A recent study measuring the academic growth of PUSD students found that those who utilized Paper experienced significant academic progress compared to those who did not. The study compared Paper usage data to i-Ready assessments, administered three times a year, measuring progress in reading and math.
Students can ask for help in any subject area at any time, for as long as they need. Whether learners are stuck on their homework or studying for a test, tutors are available 24/7.
Tutors provide an extra set of eyes whenever a student needs it. Students can upload assignments, college application essays, and more. Tutors promptly review and leave notes on style, grammar, plagiarism, and whether they followed rubrics.
Students also have access to PaperLive: after-school programming that’s better than streaming TV. K-9 students can explore topics such as history, astronomy, and financial literacy. With Paper Missions, all students can sharpen their math skills in a fun, low-pressure environment.
