Online Summer Reading Skills Program

This summer, the folks at the Community Learning Network at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) are offering reading skills and speed reading programs for preschoolers through 10th graders. These individualized programs include online instruction, independent reading and support from a reading teacher. The program design and instruction are provided by the Institute of Reading Development.

Middle School PTO News

COPY HELP NEEDED! PTO is adding an extra copying day for the teachers! Our extra day will be on Fridays. Please email DCMS4PTO@gmail.com if you are interested or available to copy on Fridays. You do not need to sign up for each Friday, just once or twice a month or every Friday if that is your wish! The time is flexible too! This will begin after spring break on April 8th. Copying is a great way to help our teachers!! Hope you can sign up to help!


PARENT SUPERVISOR needed during GOAL time while students are taking make up tests. This will begin on MONDAY April 21. Parent needs to be at school from 2:30-3:30 PM. If you are available please email DCMS4PTO@gmail.com You do not need to sign up for every Monday, just once or twice a month or every Monday if that is what you wish! This will allow students to not miss new instruction time in their classrooms if they were absent on test day. Very important for our kiddos!


TUTORS NEEDED! If you are interested in tutoring students in any subject for 5-8th grade, please email DCMS4PTO@gmail.com and we will get you paired up with the students that need extra help!
