A Note From Your Executive Director...
Team,
Happy Teacher Appreciation week to the hundreds of teachers who serve students in the Adamson Feeder Pattern! Please forward my appreciation and regards to all of your teams for the hard work they exert on a daily basis. Our students depend on great teaching and everyone's commitment to excellence is appreciated!
Our high school students will be testing this week so my best to Adamson and Gilliam campuses. Our students have been prepared and are now ready to show what they know!
Elementary and Middle schools will be testing in 5 short days. Keep your environments tight and focused on learning!
While I will be out of the office for most of this week, I am still here to serve you. Please contact Esmeralda for assistance with little things. Please contact me via text or email for any other major issues on your campuses. I will return calls during the day based on urgency and will ensure that I call you in the evening if necessary. Please note that you should notify Esmeralda in either case.

Principal & AP Evaluation Instrument
The second meeting of the Systems Review for Principals will occur between June 13-23. This will be a one hour meeting where performance ratings will be assigned and shared with each principal.
PLEASE NOTE: The Assistant Principal Evaluations need to be complete during this same time frame. (Rubric, Goals, Systems) The Systems portion of the AP Evaluation will be derived from the Systems rating that the principal receives. The idea here is that Principals and Assistant Principals work together for student success. Each play an important role into the overall rating of the school.
EXTRA! EXTRA! ELEMENTARY and MIDDLE SCHOOL PRINCIPALS TO CAMP OUT AN ADDITIONAL WEEK!
Be visible, focused and keenly aware of the quality of instruction in your buildings! GO TEAM ADAMSON FEEDER!

THE PRINCIPAL 50
Critical Leadership Questions for Inspiring Schoolwide Excellence
Chapter 8: Professional Development for the Leader
Successful school leadership requires ongoing professional development. No leader can operate in isolation. Forge relationships with your colleagues. Pick their brains. Learn from them. Shadow them when you can and have them shadow you when they can. You don't have to wait to attend a conference for real professional development!
My charge to you is to connect with a "trusted other" and engage in the work of learning from one another.
Here's to a great week of teaching and learning!

The ADAMSON FEEDER has 52 students who applied for the SUMMER ACHIEVERS program. Thank you for encouraging your families to apply. As this is the first year of this program, I am sure that we will have additional families who will want to take advantage of this opportunity next summer. Good Luck to our current applicants!
Ms. Barree will serve as the SUMMER PRINCIPAL at Adamson High School for credit recovery. Joining Adamson students will be students from Pinkston and Roosevelt. If you know of anyone who would like to serve as a teacher, please reach out to Ms. Barree.
SUMMER LEARNING FOR TEACHERS
As discussed during our last feeder meeting, we have the great opportunity to assist teachers with attending professional development geared toward their areas of need. Below are buttons for you to click to access the necessary documents for this process. While the form is not an absolute requirement, it is a best practice to have formal conversations with teachers around strengths and growth areas. Please use the forms at your discretion with the commitment that you will ensure that teachers leave for the summer knowing what they are to attend this summer.
You will need to login with your Google Account information to access the forms below. Should you have any questions, please reach out to me.
