Volunteer Opportunity - Running Club
We are looking for some volunteers to work running club this spring. I am willing to help coordinate sign ups and schedule a run-event, but my family will have VERY limited availability to run with the kids after school due to senior year commitments and soccer games.
What are we looking for?
- Who: 2-3 adults (or responsible teenager) to supervise running club students.
- When: After school from 4-4:40 p.m on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting after spring break thru Mid-May.
All of the above was crafted with our schedule in mind, so if there are other times volunteers would like to propose that is fine.
Please email me at klmalcolm2001@gmail.com if you are interested or have questions.
This is also an awesome opportunity for high schoolers to gain volunteer hours.
URGENT!!! Enrichment Volunteers Needed!
Friday, March 6th, 6-8pm
We are looking for volunteers to share their hobbies, special interests and talents with students and have some fun! So far we have six classes we need four more!
Who:
Parents, grandparents, neighbors & teachers who would be willing to teach OR assist a class.
You are welcome to co-teach with a friend or spouse! Middle and high school students are also welcome to co-teach with you.
All volunteers need to have a background check (the yellow card, good for the school year).
What:
We need 10 classes to accommodate around 140 students, (12-17 volunteers)
Classes do not have to be elaborate, keep it fun and simple and share what you love!
There is a small budget to buy supplies or we can help you round up supplies
You decided # of students, ages and activities you want in the class.
Here are some examples of enrichment classes that have been offered in the past:
Foreign Language, Cooking/Baking, Knitting, Science, STEM, Art, Puppets & Plays, Board Games, Sewing, LEGO League, Running Club, Zumba, Crafts, Outdoor Adventure, Sports, Gardening, Cheer, Book Club, Jewelry Making, Earth Day/Going Green, Healthy Eating, Engineering competition, Clay.
