Principal's Message
Tomorrow we shift to the Hybrid Schedule for all students. For students returning to school, there are a lot of things to do so you are ready to start tomorrow on campus.
- Get lots of sleep- young bodies need time to rest and adjust to the morning routine.
- Plan ahead- make sure all backpacks are packed the night before with water bottle, ipad/chromebook- fully charged and a snack if they will be eating snack @ recess.
- You can view a copy of the bell schedule HERE.
- No Outside Visitors- Students will be on campus from 8:15am-2:40pm and KOC will run their program for a small cohort group of students and therefore, outside visitors are not allowed on campus for the safety of all.
- Daily symptom checks before you come to school are a must. If your child is experiencing symptoms, keep them home.
- Please watch the WCSD safety video from Informed K12. This will need to be completed prior to your child’s return to school tomorrow.
- KOC students will exit class at 10:55 from the interior hallways where they will be greeted by KOC staff to check them in, hand wash and proceed to their program in their designated cohort groups.
- Teachers will be giving equal time and priority to on campus and remote students- therefore, please understand they will be actively working with students daily until 2:40pm and will not be as readily available to respond to emails during the student school day.
Remote Students- I am working on getting details set up so we can offer social experiences for our remote only students. We know that you will be looking forward to staying connected as well. More details to come.
Banister Bucks Parties- remember when we did our Banister Bucks Store a year ago?! Well, I still have all of the lists of students who bought tickets to parties, so don't worry. We are figuring out how to offer those in a safe, socially distanced way- so stay tuned!
Sincerely,
Milissa Banister
Principal

Handwashing Stations, Hand Sanitizers and Bottle Filling Stations located around campus
Good Hygiene is very important!
All classrooms have sinks with soap and water as well as their own hand sanitizing dispenser. In addition, we have filtered bottle filling stations in both the upper/lower wings of the campus and MPR. Free standing hand washing stations and hand sanitizers are also located around campus so there is always a place to wash or clean your hands.
We have extra masks for students and staff so everyone can be protected.
Masks are important! Thank you for helping your child practice proper mask wearing
