STEP NUMBER ONE

The bill starts off as an idea

STEP NUMBER THREE

Bill assigned to the appropriate committee
(You can't have people voting on things they don't know anything about............. Wait......... It already happens........)

STEP NUMBER FOUR

If the committee approves the bill then it goes to the Senate/House to be debated
(Approved. Approved. Approved. Approved. Approved.)

STEP NUMBER FIVE

After being debated, the bill is voted on
(I vote for this bill, I think....)

STEP NUMBER SIX

If the House/Senate approve the bill it goes to the president
(The final test for the bill, I hope.....)

STEP NUMBER SEVEN

If the president approves then the bill is a law. However he can veto it, it then goes back to the Senate/House to be edited then sent back to the president.
(Checks and Balances, (Not the bank check... darn))
