Ferdinand emphasis in education was in martial arts. Ferdinand also had tutoring in humanity, Latin, and history. Ferdinand and Isabella's brother with both from royal families.

Achievements

Isabella and Ferdinand created a union of Castile and Aragon which formed the Spanish kingdom. They sent Christopher Columbus on his voyage to the New World. They brought greater sense of unity to Spain with political and cultural entity.

Impact on Today

Ferdinand and Isabella set the foundation of Spain today. They sponsored Christopher Columbus' Voyage and discovered the Americas. Isabella and Ferdinand set the great flowering of culture and learning

Interesting

They had 5 children together and all of them married young nobles of other kingdoms in Europe. They had forced everyone in Spain to Christianity and if they didn't they had to leave or be killed. King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella were cousins before they married.
