4th Quarter

Hello Webster Families-how fast the year flies by as we begin the fourth quarter. We have many events taking place this quarter such as the 7th grade Medieval Feast, Spring MAP assessment, 8th grade field trip to Discovery World, 6th grade field trip to First Stage, the Forward Exam, our all school RISE Celebration, the Engineering Expo in Madison, and so much more! Let's have a great fourth quarter.

After School Expectations

This is a reminder that school ends at 2:45pm. All students need to leave Webster after school unless they have a sports practice, a club meeting, tutoring, or an appointment with a teacher. Students are not allowed to simply hang out in the Commons after school with no adult supervision.

Just a reminder to encourage your child to treat their Chromebook with respect. We have seen an increase in students showing up without their Chromebook, or it is not charged, and we have been finding them in the hallways as well.

Solo & Ensemble Festival

Webster hosted the Solo & Ensemble Festival on February 25, 2017. Hundreds of music students from numerous schools participated, and Webster was well represented! For the second straight year our students took home a record 439 total medals between instrumental and vocal students. Both our Vocal Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Band received superior ratings. These two ensembles alone involve 75 Webster students! Also, two students qualified for the State Solo and Ensemble festival: Ethan E. for his alto saxophone solo, and Vincent C. for both his piano solo and jazz piano solo. These two students will be representing our middle school at the State Solo and Ensemble festival at Cardinal Stritch University on May 6th.
