Brahma Briefing

Week 26 - February 22 - 26, 2021

Welcome to Week 26

Dear Brahma Parents & Guardians,

Hello, welcome to Week 26!

Though it was a shortened week with only three days of school last week, we enjoyed some exceptional activities at Diamond Bar High. The week included community collaborations, important guest speakers, and staff development opportunities. Listed below are highlights from our all-school assembly with Mr. Dee Hankins, our Mag 7 Parent fundraiser (special thanks to Teruni Evans and Cristina Bravo!), District Staff Development Day and special guest speaker from NASA, Mr. Joshua Allen.

This week, our Grade Level Coordinators will be speaking to all students during their English classes and providing them with the information needed to select their classes for next school year. It is important that all courses are reviewed by parents/guardians before they are submitted on March 7th. Please take some time to discuss this information with your student and contact their GLC if you have any questions.

Also this week we have another powerful Black History experience with Mr. Hardy Brown (with a surprise special guest), Instrumental Music fundraisers, and celebrations for our National Champion ESports Team and NMSQT Finalists. As our Head Softball Coach, Kurt Davies, says, "It's a great day to be a Brahma!"

  • Monday, Feb. 22: GLC Visit Classes for Fall 2021 Registration Information
