Reminder--Information About Required Phyiscal Examinations--Class of 2017

State Law (Public School Code Article XIV, Section 1407) requires that all 11th grade students have a physical examination on file. If you have not already done so, please make an appointment to have this obligation met as soon as possible. If your student is participating in sports this year, that physical will be accepted. If this requirement is not met by the end of the school year, it will become an obligation and will result in loss of privileges and the holding of your student's diploma. If you have questions about the physical examination, please contact Mrs. Carol Klein in the Health Office. Please review the information on the CBW Health Office website http://www.cbsd.org/Page/6310 if you need additional details.

Junior House Information Session for Parents & Students

We welcome you and your students to attend our first information
session for Junior Year on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 7:00 pm in the CBW
Auditorium. Topics will include the Junior Year Timeline, PSATs and
SATs, College Visits, and the many resources (like Naviance) that students and
parents have available to guide them through this busy year. We hope to
see you there!

Reminder--Registration for the 2015 PSATs

Please note an important change regarding the PSATs for the 2015 school year. The College Board is only offering the administration of the PSAT on Wednesday, October 14, 2015; there is no Saturday administration of the test, as in past years. In response to this change, CB West will be administering these exams between 7:30 and 11:00 AM. Only juniors and sophomores who wish to register for the PSAT should do so by visiting www.mypaymentsplus.com. Please follow the directions to set up a free account. You will need your student’s ID number to complete registration. Student ID numbers may be found on Parent Portal. Once you’ve created the account for your student, you may sign up for the CB West PSAT Registration. The cost is $16.00 and the deadline for registration is October 2nd, 2015. There is no guarantee of test availability for late registrants. We strongly encourage juniors and sophomores to take the PSAT; however, it is not mandatory that they do so.
