Computer 7
Viruses, Hackers, Malware, and Worms
Viruses: A segment self replicating code planted illegally in computer program often to damage or shutdown a system or network.
Hackers: A computer user who attempts to steal unauthorized access to a computer.
Malware: A malicious software program which causes a computer to run slow.
Worms: Exploit security software to multiple in machines.
All of these things are harmful for your computer and it is important to fix it!
Passwords
It is important to have a long and sufficient password. You want to make it something that no one would guess along with many letters and numbers. To make it harder for hackers to get into, you want to change your password at least once a month. You also want to have a different password for every account you have ever made so that a hacker cannot get into more than one of your accounts.

Digital Footprint
Everyone is a digital citizen and has a digital footprint! A digital citizen is someone who is able to think critically about the ethical opportunities and challenges of the "digital world" and makes safe, responsible, respectful choices. A digital footprint is a "trail", made up of bits and pieces of information of one's computer and on other computers and servers around the world. You want to strive to have a positive digital footprint.. and not a negative one. If you want a good reputation and a good job someday.. your gonna want your footprint to be positive.. and a few ways to keep it positive is by looking up appropriate pictures, saying nice and kind words to other people, and not doing inappropriate things. But if you have a negative digital footprint.. your most likely to be declined by jobs and have people think badly about you. So it's important to have a positive digital footprint.
