Walker's Weekly

The classroom happenings in Room 105!

A note from Miss Walker

I can't believe it is our last week of school for 2015! This week, your children will be presenting their Number the Stars projects that they have been working on for the last week and a half to the class. There will also be extra credit offered in both Reading and Language Arts that will be due on Friday. Report cards for the 2nd nine weeks will not come out until AFTER Christmas Break.

We will also have our Christmas Party this Friday and celebrate our first semester together. Don't forget that Chromebooks and chargers will need to be left at school on Friday so that some important updates and cleaning can be done over break. A few students have lent out their chargers to classmates and have had them go missing, so PLEASE check around your house to see if you have any EXTRA chargers laying around! Please return any that you find to school! Thank you!

I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed holiday season! See you in 2016! :)

Servant's Heart

There is still time to donate to our Christmas service project with Servant's Heart! You have until Wednesday to donate to this worthy cause and help provide Christmas for a family in need. This is truly a beautiful way for our class to show the gift of generosity to others during this Christmas season! Please consider donating if you feel so led! Thank you for your support of this project!

Christmas Party!

We are still in need of some donations for our Christmas Party! Please let me know if you can send in cookies, cupcakes, chips, drinks (clear only), napkins, plates, etc. Thank you for your help!

Important Chromebook Information

All devices, including 6th grade Chromebooks, will be receiving updates over the holiday break. Sixth grade students need to bring their chargers to school on Friday, December 18th. All 6th grade devices will remain at school over break, so that the technology department can clean and update the devices over the two week break. Any devices not left at school will be put in a locked mode. Thanks for your help with this important part of maintaining a properly working computer.

Classroom Citizen of the Week

Congratulations to last week's Classroom Citizen of the Week, Payton Tillett! This is Payton's second time receiving this honor from his classmates! Keep up the great citizenship, Payton!

Merry Christmas from Miss Walker's Class!
