I love these quotes:

James Dean's quote: Dream as if you will live forever and live as if you will die today.

"Dream big dreams! Imagine that you have no limitations and then decide what's right before you decide what's possible." Brian Tracy

"Don't be afraid to give up the good to go for the great." John D. Rockefeller

"In my experience, there is only one motivation, and that is desire. No reasons or principle contain it or stand against it." Jane Smiley

"Luck is what happens when preparation meets oppurtunity." Darrell Royal

"Be who you are and say what you feel because... those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." Dr. Seuss

And of course-- I can do all through Christ who strengthens me!

I would love to know a few of your favorite quotable quotes :)

Words from Ilene Meckley

I just love Ilene and her words of wisdom and encouragement here is something that I just read from her:

A new year feels like a new beginning, an opportunity to make a change. Change can be difficult. Are you making a change in how you work to grow your business? You own the changes in your life. Are you being more consistent in sharing your business with others? Are you making the customer service calls that each of your customers deserve? Are you making your callsl to see what your customers would enjoy learning more about from you? Are you using excuses, I Cant's (I Certainly Am Not Trying) or are you infiltrated with ANTS (Automatic Negative Thoughts)? Change can be even more difficult when you allow naysayers to influence decisions to make a change.

Goal Setting for 2014

I love New Years. There’s something about a fresh start and a clean slate that makes me giddy. It’s a do-over! You can set achievable and motivating goals, which is what we’re doing now!

Here are the types of goals I focus on each year:

• Business goals for Premier and teaching

• Goals for personal growth

• Family and Financial goals for our family

I believe goals are the key to accomplishing anything in life, which is why I’m so determined to make them!

Here are 3 reasons why I think you should be setting goals too:

1. Goals Give You Something to Strive For

There can be hundreds of things you’d like to accomplish, prioritize, or do, but just wishing or dreaming about them won’t make them happen. Goal-setting will.

Tony and I are dedicated to saving for our future after retirement or better yet-- an earlier retirment :) . We are on track but have been able to increase our savings thank to Premier. We know that we’re saving for the girls’ college, our future, traveling, etc.

2. Goals Keep You on Track

With never-ending to-do lists, a constantly busy lifestyle, and distractions around every corner, it can be hard to stay on track and prioritize what needs to be done first.

Set parameters in place to make sure you’re adequately working towards your goal. Maybe you need to get up 15 minutes earlier, cut your spending in one specific area, or purposefully seek out an accountability partner. Whatever it is, take provisions to help you achieve it,

You might set a couple of large goals then several smaller ones that don’t take the whole year to achieve. You can track it monthly to see if you on target.

3. Goals Give You Reason to Celebrate

Whatever your goal is, make sure there is a reward for you at the end. Maybe you work out so you can have a bowl of ice cream. Maybe you work 4 days a week on Premier so you can take off the 5th day. Maybe you book one more party a month so you can save an additional $300 a month or treat yourself to a mani/pedi. Whatever your goals are, celebrate yourself from time to time so you are motivated to keep moving forward.

I want you to realize the potential you have with Premier and share that with everyone. You may be thinking to yourself that I’m full of hot air or things are good for us because of my Premier/teaching income. But my income hasn’t always been what it is now. I started out with a $1000 investment and not nearly as cute of a kit. But along the way, I fell in love with this company and found that I’m good with people and at direct sales. And I want that for you, too, if that’s what you want for yourself.

So, now we are going to set some goals. You have 5 spaces. I’d love to see you set at least 3 business goals. The other two are yours for the choosing---maybe it’s a personal or family goal.

I've purposefully limited the worksheet to 5 goals, because too many can often be too discouraging. If you feel led to make more, I would suggest you create subsidiary goals to be accomplished after you've done your first 5. You might find that once you start crossing things off the list, you won't be able to stop!

Use the space under each goal to draw up a plan and sketch a few bullet points on how you're going to specifically achieve it. I truly believe that "a goal without a plan is just a wish", and the plan is just as important, if not more than the actual goal.

Once you've written down your goals, please feel free to email me and tell me about them! I'd love to hear what you're plans are for 2014, Yes, I'll be checking in to see how you're doing and cheering you on!

Happy goal-making, and have a wonderful 2014!
