Brazils amazon covers the area of 2.5 million square miles of land, covering nine South American countrys including Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuadador, Bolivia and Guianas witch covers two thirds of South America.

What lives there
There are many animal and plants that live in the amazon about 50% of plants are estimated to be native to the amazon. More than half of the worlds wildlife species live in the Brazilian Amazon. A verity of monkey species and reptiles overrule the animal species.

Human interaction
An estimated number of 2,700 million acres of rain forest is burned each year.

About Nine feet of rain each year falls in the Amazon Rain forest.
Movement
The main use of transportation in the Amazon rain forest is boats because there is overall four hundred lakes and rivers combined.
