Jesus Is Bigger than my Faith

I read an article this week on making Jesus the object of our faith rather than the faith itself. That may sound like a bit of a paradox but it is vitally important in my spiritual walk and yours. I don't know about you, but there are times in my life when I wonder if I believe enough to be considered a true believer. I ask myself, "Is the faith I have in Christ in this moment, evidence of a true belief in him or am I fooling myself?"

The interesting thing is, my faith is not in my ability to have a good or robust faith. My faith is in Christ alone. To be fair, there are seasons in our lives when our faith will wain to one side or the other but Christ remains the constant, and if our eyes are fixed on him, our faith will remain strong. Charles Spurgeon said it best. "Our life is found in “looking unto Jesus” (Heb. 12:2), not in looking to our own faith. By faith all things become possible to us, yet the power is not in the faith but in the God in whom faith relies." I have attached the article below for anyone who would like to read further. May God greatly bless each of you!!!!!
