Baby It's Cold Outside!
Dust off that Foundations Guide...It's that time again!
Second semester begins Tuesday, January 12th @ 8:45am
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Break and were able to get some rest and relaxation while celebrating the birth of our Savior with your families.
I have enjoyed our break immensely but am looking forward to seeing you all again and getting back to a regular routine!
During this next quarter our Science Lab time will switch from projects back to experiments focusing on the steps of the Scientific Method. Students will need their Science Journals each week.
Our focus during Fine Arts for the third quarter will be on "Discovering Great Artists".
We will be learning about great artists from the past, seeing some of their famous works of art, and mimicking their styles in our own art creations. We will be using a variety of different art media during this time. Students will need to wear clothes for painting.
Week 13: Giotto
Week 14: Ghiberti
Week 15: Fra Angelico
Week 16: Albrecht Durer
Week 17: Michelangelo
Week 18: El Greco

In His Service,
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
