A Message From Our Principal
Greetings,
As we continue to work through this pandemic and the uncertainties, our teachers have been doing a fantastic job. Many administrators began the teacher observation process and what our teachers are doing is awesome. I actually am amazed at how the teachers are managing to communicate and teach both the virtual and in-person students at the same time. While this is a time of uncertainty our teachers are embracing, engaging and educating the students.
As for our Athletes, thanks to Mr. Carmichael for organizing a ceremony for our student athletes that have committed to colleges. This past Wednesday was National Commitment Day. Athletes and parents were invited to the ceremony to recognize the students achievements and watch them sign commitment letters. Such a proud time for our coaches and parents.
We are in the home stretch for Fall Athletics. All teams are now gearing up for the sectional playoffs. We wish them all the best of luck as they finish out a season that we were so fortunate to have this year during this pandemic. Now we wait for guidance on the winter sport programs.
Student council has announced our β2020 Homecoming Courtβ Voting has taken place this week with the winner to be announced at the halftime of the home soccer game on Saturday November 14. The game starts at 11 AM. Best of luck to all the young ladies! Iβm sure our seniors had a difficult time choosing from the pool of terrific young women! Check out the video below for the nominees!
Pictures were taken this week for all underclassmen. If you missed out, donβt worry there will be make up days. That information will be coming as soon as we can lock down a date.
Have an awesome weekend! Until next week, stay safe, be well, continue to dream of the possibilities ahead of us, be happy and smile at someone!
Ms. Connor
