A Peek Inside Fifth Grade

Mrs. Tuttle

Happy Friday!

Donations needed!!!

We are in need of some art supplies! All can be found at Michaels or Hobby Lobby because of the coupons! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Water Color Paper

2. Cray-Pas Junior Artist Oil Pastels - 25 count is sufficient (class set but I'll take what I can get!; all colors)

We have mostly focused on our Writing Benchmark this week. Next week, we'll be back onto our OREO essays.

We met with our kinder buddies on Friday and made a Halloween themed art project with candy corns. See the Shutterfly site for some photos.

We have begun Unit 3 and hit the ground running. Continue to review multiplication and division facts as they are necessary since this unit in math contains multiple steps.

We also studied the Color Wheel - Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary color and mixed our very own colors to make our own color wheel. The final product will tile our windows!

Next week, Social Studies and Science will begin to switch every other day, just like students do for Music and P.E.

Wishing you and your family a wonderful weekend!!!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Tuttle
