COLLIER ADULT EDUCATION

Message from the Leadership Team.
Great job to all that donated non perishable food items for the holiday canned food drive that supports St. Matthew's house. Barron Collier High School part time teacher Huguette collected the most cans. The full-time ESOL classes at LWTC, in total collected 644 items as a team. Thank you Scott Schnappauf for helping organizing and delivering the goods! A special thanks to all!
We remind you to please take time this Thanksgiving break to give thanks and to count your blessings. We wish you all a happy, healthy and restful Thanksgiving!
REMINDER: NO SCHOOL FOR PART-TIME CLASSES WEEK OF NOVEMBER 20-22 (Thanksgiving break)

Kudos
*Scott S. for organizing and delivering the canned food items for the Canned Food Drive.
*Tammy C. for doing an awesome job teaching her beginning level students in an engaging manner. She always has a full class!
*Stephanie S. for making her lessons relevant and interesting using technology.
*Roberta K. for planning lessons and building community in her classroom.
*In Hudson's class, a great way to keep students engaged is by telling jokes. My favorite during a math lesson..."Why was 6 afraid of 7?" Answer....because 7 "ate"8 9! LOL
*Diana K. for the continued effort of building classroom community!
