Covington Place Newsletter
March 20, 2016 - For Residents of Covington Place
Mark your calendars now for SUMMER JAM 2016!
Our Pool Grand Opening Event will take place on Sunday, May 29th from 2:00-5:00PM.
A Tex Mex Meal will be provided by the HOA and attendees are asked to bring either a dessert or an appetizer to share.
Live entertainment will be provided at the event by "Whiskey Bent" band.
More details will be provided prior to the event as well as information regarding several "Weekend Only" pool openings and the official start of the Summer Pool Season. But for now, be sure to mark this event on your calendar!
WE NEED A VOLUNTEER SPONSOR IN ORDER TO HOLD THE SPRING YARD SALE
It's time to start planning for our Annual Neighborhood-wide Spring Yard Sale and we need a volunteer to step forward to coordinate the event.
NOTE: Without a volunteer sponsor there will be no Spring Yard Sale.
Here's what is involved in being the sponsor:
1 - Select the Saturday on which to hold the event.
2 - Provide the proposed date to the HOA Board for approval.
3 - Place Ads in the Covington News and the Newton Citizen for the week of the event; you'll be reimbursed for this expense with your receipts.
4 - Place the Yard Sale signs at each of the 3 entrances and at the pool area on the Sunday before the event to provide a full week's worth of free advertising for drive-thru customers; we already have pre-made signs ready to put out and we'll provide them to you.
5 - Remove the signs on the date of the event after it ends.
If you'd like to volunteer, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP!
