The Return
A Documentary about being young and Jewish in today's Poland
TOMORROW: Join us Tuesday, April 21st, 7pm to 9:00pm, Arts Center Room 14
The Return explores the unique reality of being Jewish in Poland today by following the intertwined lives of four young women in Poland. They come from varying backgrounds and show us their struggle to create a living Jewish identity and community within the country that was once the epicenter of the Jewish world.
In May 2014 students from Nazareth College, Hobart and William Smith Colleges and community members traveled with Henry and Sally, two Holocaust survivors, through Berlin, Krakov and Warsaw on The March: Bearing Witness to Hope. We heard incredible stories, saw terrible sights, and learned a great deal about ourselves and the type of world we want to live in, and will fight for. Post 'The March' students create events to highlight our experiences as well as issues that we are still struggling with.
We hope you can join us for this FREE screening of The Return, followed by a discussion led by students who participated in the 2014 March: Bearing Witness to Hope.
