EIGHTH ANNUAL LINCOLN ELEMENTARY SCIENCE/INVENTION FAIR
You're Invited!!
The Lincoln PTO is so excited to invite you to the Lincoln Bash!
When: Saturday April 23rd at 7 pm until 11 pm
Where: J&Bs Sports Bar & Tap Room (5230 W. Bluemound Rd)
Who: All parents and guardians of Lincoln students, Lincoln Staff
What to expect: Aside from finally getting a chance away from your kids to meet other Lincoln adults, there will be appetizers, a cash bar, a *silent auction with tons of great prizes, a wine pull and so much other fun!
NEW THIS YEAR: Bags AND a Pop-a-Shot Tournaments!! Start planning your 2 player teams (for Bags) and single person for Pop-a-Shot NOW - $10 per person buy-in, first come, first serve. Please email ajcure17@gmail.com to secure your spot in either or both games.
Cost to attend: $15 per ticket online, $20 at the door

Spring Concert
The Lincoln Music Staff is happy to announce the return of our 4th and 5th Grade Band, Choir, and Orchestra Spring Concert! We invite families to join us on Monday, May 2nd at 7:00 PM in the Lincoln gym. Our students are very excited to share their learning with you in person!
District Updates for Families + Students April 18-22, 2022
NEW: Personnel Update
Mr. Clint Grochowski has resigned from his position as Principal at Whitman Middle School. The resignation appears on the consent agenda to be presented at the April 25, 2022 School Board meeting. The Human Resources Department will immediately post for the Principal position at Whitman Middle School. Dr. Means will be scheduling New Principal Listening Sessions in the coming weeks to connect with Whitman staff, students and families to better understand the strengths of the school community and the necessary characteristics of the next principal.
Dr. Angela Dye will continue to serve as Interim Principal for the remainder of the 2021-22 school year, with support from Associate Principal Mr. Michael Brock.
NEW: Strategic Planning Update
Over the past two weeks, members of the Strategic Planning Steering Committee were selected and notified of upcoming meeting dates. The first meeting will take place next week. At this meeting, members of the Committee will review critical data points and begin to develop a profile that reflects the best attributes of the Wauwatosa School District, define the characteristics that make Wauwatosa unique and identify areas for improvement.

NEW: Open House + Ribbon Cutting Events
Families, students, staff and community members are invited to attend four open house and ribbon cutting events to celebrate what our community created as a result of the 2018 Referendum. NEW: Recreation Department Job Fair
The Wauwatosa Recreation Department will be holding a job fair on Saturday, April 30th at 9:00am - 12:00pm at the Fisher Administration Building (lower gymnasium). Please find additional details here.
Bike to School Day - May 4
Join members of our educational community on May 4, 2022 for Bike to School Day. As the weather is warming up this is a great time to review bike safety as a family. Review these bike safety tips.Bike Safety awareness will continue that week at the annual Bike Rodeo May 7, 2022 hosted by the City of Wauwatosa. All are welcome to join.
Summer School Registration Now Open
Summer School registration is now open for students currently enrolled in the Wauwatosa School District. Registration for non-residents will open on Monday, April 18. All enrollments should be conducted via Infinite Campus. Course selection will close on Friday, June 10. For more information, please visit our Summer School web page.
Tosa Transitions Craft Fair
On May 7, you can purchase unique items created by the individuals utilizing the District’s community-based transition services! More information about the Tosa Transitions Craft Fair can be found here.
Longfellow Middle School Presents Frozen Jr.
Please join Longfellow Middle School on May 12, 13, 14, 20 and 21 for their spring musical, Frozen Jr. When their kingdom becomes trapped in perpetual winter, fearless Anna joins forces with mountaineer Kristoff and his reindeer sidekick to find Anna's sister, Snow Queen Elsa, and break her icy spell. Although their epic journey leads them to encounters with mystical trolls, a comedic snowman, harsh conditions, and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff bravely push onward in a race to save their kingdom from winter's cold grip. Whitman Middle School + Wauwatosa Montessori Present Shrek Jr.
Whitman Middle School & Montessori Proudly Present Shrek Jr. Please join us Thursday May 12 & Friday May 13 at 7pm & Saturday May 14 at 2pm at West High School for our Shrek-tastic production! Over 85 Whitman, Montessori & Wauwatosa West students are helping create this amazing show. Come see a Dragon, Ogres, Dulocians, and all the Fairytale Creatures celebrate their individuality and find their strength in each other. Big dance numbers, fantastic songs and entertainment await! Don't miss out!
Farmer’s Market Power of Produce Club
The Tosa Farmers Market is open every Saturday from June 4 until October 15 in the heart of the Tosa Village across from the Little Red Store. The market will be open from 8 am to noon with a special sneak peek on Saturday, May 28 from 8 am to noon. All students age five to 12 can participate in the Farmer’s Market Power of Produce Club (POP)! Just check in each week at the information booth and each child will receive $2 in tokens to spend on produce or food bearing plants.
