Temporary Distance Learning Resources

As you know, CPA has temporarily shifted to Distance Learning. We will return to in-person instruction on Monday, January 31. Below are links to helpful resources you may need during CPA's temporary Distance Learning.

Student Intent To Return Forms

Your family should have received a Student Intent to Return Form in the mail. If you haven't already, please return the form to your child's teacher or the CPA office as soon as possible. Knowing your enrollment plans for the fall helps us in our planning. If you have any questions, please contact the CPA office. Thank you!

Words of Wisdom

"The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone."

~Harriet Beecher Stowe

Everyone has had the experience of saying or doing something that they immediately regret. We lose our temper or snap at someone out of anger or irritation, or we do something insensitive or hurtful. Then comes the dreaded moment when we fully realize what we've done.

Saying "I'm sorry" is sometimes not enough, and making amends becomes a more courageous form of an apology. It shows we have enough respect for both ourselves and the other person to go beyond "sorry" and put our apologies into action. When we right our wrongs, life brings fewer regrets, and that's something we each deserve.

Give Kids a Smile!

Minnesota dental professionals are concerned about the growing number of low-income children who face barriers to dental care. That’s why thousands of dental professionals come together on the first Friday and Saturday of February to provide free dental care to children in need.

This special event is called “Give Kids a Smile” and is coordinated by the Minnesota Dental Association. The dental care will be available in community-based clinics and private practices in many locations throughout Minnesota.

All patients must have appointments in advance and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parents may call United Way 211 (just dial 2- 1-1) or 800-543-7709. Operators will have a list of participating dental offices and will be able to direct people to a location in their area. Parents will then call the dental office to schedule an appointment.

An online list is also available at www.mndental.org.

COVID 19 Vaccine Clinics

CPA will be hosting several free COVID 19 Vaccine Clinic for ages 5+, and you and your family are encouraged to attend. Below is a list of upcoming COVID 19 Vaccine Clinics at CPA that will be open to age 5 and older:

  • Tuesday, January 25, 3:30-6:30pm (This clinic will still happen, even though we are temporarily in Distance Learning)

  • Tuesday, February 22, 3:30-6:30pm

The COVID 19 Vaccine is free, and these clinics are open to the public. Pfizer and Moderna boosters are also available for those who are eligible. Participants should enter CPA through Door A on Magnolia and wear a mask.
