Paperless Alternatives
No paper, no pain
With the recent and ongoing problems with printer installations, and the copier problems that we all know will persist throughout the school year, here are some possible options to reduce dependence on paper by both you and your students.
Digital Copies
Instead of printing a worksheet and making copies for students (that we know they are just going to lose), move it to Google Drive and post the GDoc in itslearning as a forced copy. That way students will all have their own copy in their Google Drive that they can't lose. BENEFIT: You'll actually be able to read all their answers if they share it back with you.

Online Homework or Assessments
Create class activities, homework assignments, or even tests and quizzes in itslearning using the "test" feature. These could be short and simple multiple-choice activities, or lengthy, in-depth assessments with a variety of question types, including fill-in-the-blank, short answer, or even essay questions. Instructions are HERE.
There are lots of other options for in-class activities also, such as Nearpod, Kahoot!, Quizizz, Formative, or Quizlet.
Digital Dropboxes for Homework or Projects
Collect homework or projects using an assignment dropbox in itslearning. Instead of having students print out a worksheet to complete for homework, or their essay to turn in to you, have them submit the answers or the file to an assignment dropbox.
