Dear Grace Families,
Happy May! We are finishing up a wonderful Spirit Week, and the students have been so happy and joyful in the midst of several spring celebrations. Our 4th graders celebrated one of our greatest GES traditions, The Medieval Feast. Six long weeks of building castles, learning dances, and writing research reports culminated in a magnificent event in Kilbourne which was transformed into a Medieval dining hall. Many thanks to Mrs. Hand, Mrs. Jones, and Mrs. Monk for planning this wonderful learning experience and to all of the parents who volunteered their time to put the event together. The Aloha pep rally was fantastic as we said goodbye to the exceptional Class of 2019. Today, we are enjoying this “lovely” weather and having a blast at Field Day, and the classrooms are full of lovely gifts that your children are making in honor of Mother's Day. A special thank you to John Pruitt and the GES Board of Trustees for providing a wonderful crawfish boil in celebration of our faculty/staff for their hard work. How blessed we are! Have a restful weekend.
Warmly,
Dr. Beth J. Ricks
