2017-2018: Be the CHANGE
January 15, 2018
Greetings!
It was slightly disappointing to miss our first ski day of the season, but we want you to know that everyone's safety comes first when making the decision to call a snow day. Mt. Holly did not end up opening their runs until 3pm on Friday, so we made the right choice. The good news is that we will still have FIVE ski days this year as we have arranged to have Friday, February 16 replace the one that we just missed. So if you paid for five ski days, then you do not need to change anything or do anything payment wise.
A few quick notes:
IMPORTANT SCHEDULE CHANGE - please note - the half day previously scheduled for 2/14 has been move to 2/7. We had to move this because count date was listed incorrectly on our school calendar.
2/7 half day
2/14 full day / count day
Re-enrollment forms went home today! Please return these ASAP (like tomorrow!) - If you are in a grade level or classroom that is FULL, it is extremely important that you re-enroll this week so that we do not inadvertently give your child's spot away. On the flip side, if your child will not be returning to Kingsbury for Fall of 2018 please let us know so we can work on filling that spot once open enrollment begins.
Middle school phones - Our cell phone policy in middle school is going extremely well. There have been minimal classroom disruptions/distractions due to cell phones. There have been several cases of parents texting their children during the school day. Please don't be the reason your child gets "caught" using their cell phone during school hours.
Brick It Up - We have an exciting new after school club that will begin on February 5th. Please see the attached flyer.
Best,
David Poirier
