Principal's Message
Thank you to the parents that filled out the communication survey and gave us some feedback about our school. We were pleased to see so many positive comments about OTES and you recognized how we are trying to improve our communication with families. Some critical feedback helped us moving forward to work on some common concerns we received through this survey.
We will continue with our EmPowerME testing fro our 4th Graders next week. The fifth graders completed their testing this week and will have a few makeup tests to do. We are pleased with their efforts to DO THEIR BEST.
4th Graders: Testing March 25-29
3rd Graders Testing April 1-5
Makeup testing: April 8-10
We hope to see you at our GLOW DANCE on Friday Night, March 22. Come join the fun and start the spring season with this event sponsored by our PTC and D.O.G.S. There will be a concession stand at the event to benefit our 5th Grade Celebration.
The 5th Graders have set up two redemption sites to drop off your bottles and cans to donate to their celebration. Mahan's Redemption (Old Town) and Bradley Redemption (Bradley) have accounts set up to receive donations of cans and bottles.
Book Fair: We have several slots to fill for our Book Fair coming right up next week. This is a fun way to support our school and to see how excited our students get with the annual event. Here's a link to this year's book fair event: http://signup.com/go/RFbYmEh
Log your volunteer hours here: We are hoping you'd provide 10 hours of support to our school. Support can come in many forms.
