Looking Ahead
This week's quote is "Wise sayings often fall on barren ground but a kind word is never thrown away." - Arthur Helps
This quote was given to me by Imani Farrell from Ms. Bruno's class. I received "mail" from Imani with this quote along with a request to consider it. Not only is this is a great quote, it can elicit powerful conversation regarding intent and meaning but full of rich vocabulary and figurative language. Great find Imani!!
I am overjoyed the children are seeking out and sharing quotes that motivate, inspire, and/or invoke thought. I look forward to receiving more.
We've Got Mail
Students have an exact replica in the front lobby (underneath the flag) for the same purpose. If they would like to make a report anonymously, they too, can place their concern in the mailbox.
